Why a site of written pictures (and painted/ drawn ones)?
That is quickly answered: I was encouraged to publish my work because so many people liked my style and my ideas.
What I had not realised was that it would take a lot of courage, as I never learned to "WRITE".
I just write... if you see what I mean.
I did take a course on creative writing at university in the U.K., learning to express feelings with words and thus using it as a complement to my art studies. But I certainly never learned to apply correctly any rhyming rules, structures of poetry etc. So what you will experience on my site, on the pages where I have my poetry: thoughts and feelings, impressions and questions, experiences and interpretations, observations and dreams, hopes and fears, fact and fiction, magic and reality, questions and answers, searching and finding.
It's pure, unpolished, untrained, inventive, natural, unstyled, "art brut", intuitive, honest, subjective.
WATCH OUT FOR THE ARTISTIC MAGNIFYING GLASS !!!

Another word about my illustrations
If you want to use one of my illustrations on your own site please ask. If I like the feel of your site I might ask you to link the image you borrowed to my site (now that is asking a very small favour in return for having a Designer Original to embellish your page with!)
I will ususally give permission to use my images on your site if your site corresponds to my ideals = no obvious nor implied nor subliminal-----> violence, racism, sexism, ageism, nationalism, hatred, abuse, exploitation of the disadvantaged, no encouraging superiority or inferiority attitudes, no proclaiming extremist views.
