Many COLOURS of Love and Happiness
|
I love you - Je t'aime
I love you. Three words. Je t'aime... So simple but so powerful.
They make my life as it is, they made my life many years go, they made the life that will make the life.
Je t'aime...feelings, the same, in any heart, anywhere. The right to be as I am, as you are, the right and the duty to share.
I love you... two different people within millions of minds, bodies, souls. Yet, all the same through and within these words.

My Bag of Sweet memories
I like the purple sweets, they have such delicate flavour, of violets, our lilac tree, your winter scarf I knitted. I like the blue ones, their strong flavour reminds me of sailing, the far mountain we climbed, our childrens' eyes. I like the green ones, so fresh and universal, bringing spring, mint ice cream, crunchy apples, lawn picknicks. I like the yellow ones, their fizzy flavour of life made of sun, candle light, home-made lemonade, canary birds'songs. I like the orange ones, full of warmth and memories, of childhood sunsets, freckles on your nose, fruit salad. I like the red ones, comforting and a little daring with their log fires, sunburn, our rose garden, Feuerzangenbowle. But best of all I like the multi-coloured ones.
Those that hold all flavours, all memories, our whole life.
Perfumes, flavours of a life together made in sugar
and made to share with you.

Our Wedding anniversary
Do you remember when we met, bowl of sweets by my side, sweets to fire my imagination, sweets to invite yours? Do you remember the painting I laboured over in the art studio, of animals on a farm, and the horse that wasn't... Do you remember creating the most wonderful elegant horse with just a few light waves of your skilled hand? Do you remember asking for a sweet, and chosing the green one? Do you remember meeting again in the pottery studio, later, when I could not get the clay to sit upright, centred, still on a wheel whizzing round in laughter faster than my hands? Do you remember writing on the backside of a wobbly slab pot "I would have stood straight but I have backsides too many" ? How I laughed, fired pot still hot from kiln, seeing all sides of my pot had become uneven clay tablets
carrying messages of your neverending creativity,
and making me feel like the world's greatest artist.
And suddenly I realised that my life would be full of 'horses'
and of clay needing your thought, your love.
I would buy all the green sweets for you
and create with you, always.
