Sound Waves I like wind harps since my thesis for my studies at the Regional Social Work Institute of the Bretagne in 2000 (yes, I did get my diploma with excellent notes; and we'll build a wind harp on our farm). Ron's windharp was the first "harp" I ever saw, thanks to harpist Joyce Rice who did a lot of personal research. Link to Ron's exciting site, and check out his recipe and ecology pages on recipes. Joyce's site for harpists, music and harp-related instruments is linked on the "search-find" page, I read her magazine regularly.

Autum colours This is the original from which my paint program made the CAD image for the "Autumn" image. It's amazing what a PC can do...

my first try at "reality illustration" with my PC and an ancient drawing program. No, it's a WISTERIA - you thought it might be a vine, didn't you?!........ however, the link is "serious" and scolarly, info about the plant and its care, a must if you have as many as we do !!

if you like ice cream you, too, will like this link giving a little history, tips and recipes.

this gif has nothing to do with anything. I just liked it. Do you remember these 'toys' from the 70s and 80s?? The link, unrelated to this image - but it leads to one of my family's well-liked TV and radio programs and essential travel guides from that time: "The Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams. And if you really want ALL the galactic info about the play and book, this link is essential: the BBC official HHGTG site

Do you realise that what we eat and drink can make us ill or better? You'he heard about the benefits of herbal teas... NOTE: unless you know what you are doing with medicinal herbs, DO NOT try to use them as medicines. Get help, get training (even better!) and always consult a book and get someone who knos about this, while you are learning about what Mother Earth provides.

This is the "real thing". Photo taken in very early April 2002, there were no leaves on the wisteria! Shame I could not get closer to get a chunky bumble bee, she flew off when I was at 20cm distance.
The image-link? A site about lots of interesting things and a hive of information about bumbles and other bees and hornets...fascinating creatures, although personally I'd rather not think about the big hornets nests we have just above the kitchen and the sitting room, in the lofts.
