Thoughts about a beach in France For R.P.
Today I wrote a sea-poem for a friend. A colourful poem about summer, sun, beach, ice cream, picknicks, about people celebrating their holidays with family and friends. A noisy poem about a mixed choir of children, sea gulls, surf.
A visual poem about wavelets washing into liquid foot-prints, about colourful kites, bobbing boats, sand-coated shells. Building huge sand sculptures my thoughts become reality, taking the sand from the sea for just a few hours on land
then watch her carry my creation so carefully with her.
A pensive poem about sitting on a beach, the sun melting worries.
listening to the sea's everlasting song, realising how much
the sea and we are strong and fragile, so essential to each other.
Une berceuse pour les Âmes troublées.
Many people, somewhere quietly, like me, understanding.
Today I wrote about the sea, the beach, about Man and Nature.
J'avais écrit mon poème en français.
